The Department of Computer Science at the College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a scientific field trip to Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University – Polytechnic College in Karbala, with the aim of enhancing students’ practical skills and familiarizing them with the latest technologies adopted in academic and applied environments.

The visit program included a field tour of specialized laboratories and academic departments, during which students listened to detailed explanations provided by faculty members and specialists about modern devices and equipment used in practical training, in addition to reviewing student projects and the work mechanisms adopted by the college.

The supervisors of the trip emphasized the importance of such visits in broadening students’ perspectives and linking theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby contributing to the development of their skills and motivating them toward creativity and innovation.
