The Iraqi Doctors Syndicate praises the decision of the Minister of Education to rotate vacant seats in postgraduate studies and reduce tuition fees

The Iraqi Doctors Syndicate praised the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr Naim Al-Aboudi to rotate vacant seats in postgraduate studies and reduce tuition fees. The text of its statement reads as follows: The Iraqi Doctors Syndicate extends its sincere thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr Naim Al-Aboudi, following the decision issued by the Ministry of Higher Education (BC 5/7535) on 31/7/2024 regarding the filling of vacant postgraduate seats for the academic year 2024/2025.

This decision has allowed the rotation of vacant seats in postgraduate studies, which contributes significantly to the absorption of more students wishing to study. We also express our gratitude for the Ministry’s Order No. (BC 5/7799) dated 8/8/2024, which included reducing tuition fees for admitted students according to the treatments included in the above-mentioned decision. These measures reflect the great keenness to find solutions that serve the nation by providing the best opportunities for students according to the available possibilities
