Aims of the Diviion

Legal Consultation: Providing legal advice to the management and various departments within the college regarding legal issues related to education, research, administrative operations, and others.

Contract Drafting and Review: Drafting and reviewing contracts and agreements entered into by the college with external parties, including academic, commercial, and operational contracts, to ensure the protection of the college’s interests.

Compliance with Regulations and Laws: Ensuring that all college operations and policies comply with relevant local and international regulations and laws.

Legal Risk Management: Identifying and assessing legal risks facing the college and providing advice on how to mitigate these risks.

Legal Defense and Representation: Representing the college in courts and before judicial and regulatory bodies in cases of legal disputes or lawsuits.

Intellectual Property: Managing intellectual property issues, including protecting patents, copyrights, and trademarks owned by the college and faculty members.

Research Ethics Compliance: Supervising compliance with ethical standards in scientific research, including reviewing research protocols and ensuring the protection of human and animal rights in research.

Policy and Procedure Development: Contributing to the development and updating of internal policies and procedures for the college to maintain a sound and sustainable legal environment.
