The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Abboudi visited the headquarters of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate and congratulated its board on the election of its new president.

In a joint meeting, he stressed the importance of integrating tasks in accordance with the legislation in force achieving the objectives of the educational institution and strengthening its scientific climate responsible for enhancing institutional performance and enabling university affiliates from the space of presence and excellence and guaranteeing their rights stipulated by law.

He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is keen to bridge the areas of joint work with the Iraqi Academics Union according to a national vision that serves university education and responds to the requirements of the national strategy for education and education in Iraq and is in line with the Iraqi government program and its ministerial curricula.

For its part, the Iraqi Academics Union expressed its thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, for his interest and keenness to overcome challenges and establish opportunities for success and translate them into academic programs that enhance the status of Iraqi universities and contribute directly to serving society and achieving sustainable development goals.
