The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Abboudi announced the start of procedures to build an integrated university city for the University of Maysan.

This came during his meeting with Maysan Governor Habib Zaher Al-Fartousi and members of its council, where he announced that the ministry had started the procedures for building an integrated university city for the University of Maysan according to modern specifications that include buildings for faculties, research centers, advanced laboratories, complexes for internal departments and other supporting and service facilities.

He added that cooperation and integration between the university and the governorate represent an important step to achieving sustainable development and cooperation in the field of scientific and technical consultations, expertise, training and development programs for the sectors operating in the governorate, support and contribution to environmental protection and enhance community awareness.
