The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the launch of the second edition of the “Study in Iraq” program for international students in Iraqi universities for the academic year 2025/2024.

The “Study in Iraq” program includes 14,322 study seats offered by 59 Iraqi governmental and private universities, distributed as follows: 57% for fully-funded scholarships and 43% for partially-funded scholarships in various fields including medical, health sciences, engineering, natural sciences, agriculture, veterinary medicine, administration, law, politics, education, and humanities, for undergraduate, diploma, master’s, and doctoral levels for the academic year 2024/2025.

The application for scholarships begins today, Monday, April 1, 2024, through the dedicated online platform for the “Study in Iraq” program (https://studyiniraq.scrd-gate.gov.iq/home).

The launch of the new edition of the “Study in Iraq” program witnessed official speeches and detailed presentations in the presence of representatives from diplomatic missions in Baghdad, prospective students, university presidents, deans of faculties, and a selection of international students studying in Iraqi universities.
