Based on its legal authority to extend the service of those covered by Law No. 23 of 2008 regarding university service, amended for holders of the academic titles of professor and assistant professor, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research affirms its commitment to legal contexts and interpretations in protecting the rights of this important segment regarding service extensions and ensuring their retirement rights.

In this regard, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, closely monitors the paths and outcomes of discussions with the National Retirement Authority, aiming to present them before the Council of Ministers in accordance with the requirements of public interest.
