The dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology, Dr. Muwaffaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, participated today, Thursday, February 15, 2024, in a tree-planting campaign organized by the Student Activities Unit at the college.
The campaign included cleaning activities, beautifying streets and squares, and improving lighting to enhance the environment and present the college in the best possible light. Several faculty members and students participated in this campaign.
Dr. Mohammed Abdul Aziz Al-Tamimi, the director of the Student Activities Unit, explained that the unit has developed a work plan to clear debris and plant trees and flowers in the college gardens, and they are closely monitoring the progress of this plan.
The dean emphasized the importance of the participation of all college staff in such campaigns to bring about development in various sectors. He highlighted the significance of comprehensive cleanliness and raising awareness about the achievements being made at the university to instill a sense of belonging and patriotism in the younger generation.
