The University of Karbala has signed a twinning and mutual cooperation agreement with Al-Taff University College. Represented by Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein, Assistant to the University President for Scientific Affairs, the University of Karbala signed the agreement with Al-Taff University College, represented by its Dean, Dr. Karim Muzahim Al-Saadi.

The agreement aims to enhance scientific and cultural cooperation and build strong ties between different educational institutions, exchanging expertise in various fields and providing opportunities for students and academics to participate in exchange programs and joint research projects.

The agreement includes several provisions, notably cooperation in developing plans and unifying scientific curricula for related specialties, conducting training courses and workshops for faculty members, in addition to collaborative scientific research.

This initiative aligns with the directives of the Ministry of Education, which seeks, among its objectives, to broaden the horizons of scientific cooperation between institutions and provide mutual support in terms of expertise and scientific laboratories. The University of Karbala represents a comprehensive scientific umbrella that directs, monitors, and supports scientific institutions in the province, as demonstrated through a series of cooperation mechanisms established with various universities.
