The Department of Administrative Affairs at the Presidency of the University of Karbala organized a scientific workshop to explain the instructions for scientific promotions and to know the sobriety of research journals and containers.

The workshop included a comprehensive review of the instructions for scientific promotions (176) for the year 2017, as well as the presentation of the most important circulars issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research related to scientific promotions.

The lecturers touched on the mechanism of selecting the journal and the sober publishing house before starting to publish the research to avoid falling prey to predatory and commercial journals, as well as providing a detailed explanation of the first tables related to scientific research, and the second related to activities and the statement of the accredited and others
