Assistant to the President of the University of Karbala for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Najm Abdul-Hussein Al-Janabi, welcomed a delegation from the International Academy for Leadership and Development (IALD) in Istanbul. The meeting aimed to discuss the hosting mechanism of the university for scientific debates in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
Dr. Najm Al-Janabi mentioned that the discussion focused on the possibility of the University of Karbala hosting university debates among students within the university’s geographic area. He further explained that the university will nominate four of its students, two judges, and a supervisor from its professors to oversee the debates expected to be organized in the coming days.
Al-Janabi clarified that the goal of organizing university debates is to cultivate future youth leaders capable of effectively contributing to serving and developing society.
The International Academy for Leadership and Development (IALD) is one of the educational institutes in Istanbul, provides scholarships, consultations, and educational services to students. Additionally, it sponsors developmental programs and youth initiatives.
