The University of Karbala signs a mechanism for scientific collaboration with Al-Zahraa University for Women in Karbala

The University of Karbala has established a joint scientific cooperation mechanism with Al-Zahraa University for Women in Karbala, aiming to enhance collaboration between the two universities for the benefit of the educational and academic progress in the province. The agreement seeks to leverage their capabilities in a manner consistent with both local and international standards through scientific and academic programs.

The agreement, signed by the President of the University of Karbala, Professor Basim Al-Saadi, and the President of Al-Zahraa University, Professor Zainab Al-Sultani, along with their respective deputies and department heads, encompasses several objectives contributing to the development of scientific, academic, and functional capacities for both institutions. This collaboration aligns with ministerial directives.

President Al-Saadi stated that the agreement includes cooperation in the field of scientific research, organizing scientific conferences and seminars, faculty exchange in scientific disciplines, and benefiting from their expertise. Additionally, it involves conducting joint research and elevating its global and local impact in various academic and scientific domains that serve the community. This collaboration aims to enhance the mechanism of cooperation between the two parties.

Al-Saadi emphasized that the University of Karbala is committed to strengthening ties in academic, scientific, and research fields with Iraqi universities, including Al-Zahraa University for Women in Karbala. The goal is to open new horizons for joint scientific cooperation to develop educational institutions, achieving public interest, reaching the highest scientific and professional levels, and attaining advanced positions.
