The Women Empowerment Department at the Presidency of the University of Karbala organized a meeting, bringing together unit heads and liaison members from the College of Computer Science and Information Technology in Al-Khwarizmi Hall. The purpose of the meeting is to empower women in all fields and overcome the obstacles they face.

The meeting included discussions on the mechanisms that represent women in their work, especially their leadership roles, which require them to move forward to achieve their ambitions. Assistant Professor Dr. Yasmin Khudair Khalf, the head of the department at the university, chaired the meeting. She focused on several points, including activities and events centered around women, the strategic plan scheduled for implementation starting this year until 2030, as part of the ministerial program that established this unit.

Participants in the meeting highlighted various issues faced by women, seeking solutions in collaboration with the university presidency. The meeting concluded with several recommendations and general suggestions addressing women’s issues
