College of Computer Science Organizes Training Course on Social and Educational Measures to Combat Terrorism

The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a training course on social and educational measures to combat terrorism for the third day today, Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in the scientific departments.

Presenters included Assistant Professor Fadel Abbas Sabah, Assistant Professor Hussein Saleh Manakhor, and Assistant Professor Zahraa Abdul Amir.

The aim of the course was to provide comprehensive solutions to the problem of terrorism and to promote citizenship values and societal belonging.

The course also covered the social and educational methods to address the phenomenon of extremism and terrorism, as well as clarifying the role of educational institutions in combating this phenomenon and how to reduce its spread.

Participants emphasized the importance of conducting such courses, as they provide valuable insights into the concepts of extremism and terrorism, and attempt to find appropriate solutions and mitigate their impact.
