University President discusses with Karbala Municipality the implementation of projects to remove bottlenecks at the university entrances

The President of Karbala University, Prof. Dr. Bassem Khalil Nayel Saidi, discussed with the Karbala Municipality Director, Engineer Hassan Sharifi, ways to reduce traffic congestion at the university gates during working hours.

Accompanied by the Director of Karbala Municipality and his assistant for administrative affairs, Prof. Dr. Akram Mohsen Al-Yasiri, member of the Provincial Council Dr. Mohsen Al-Kanani and a number of specialists in the engineering field on the sites where it is hoped to implement projects.

University President Dr. Bassem Al-Saeedi stressed the need to relieve traffic jams at the main gates of the university during working hours.

He pointed out that Karbala University is working on plans to find alternatives that will ease the pressure at the university’s entrance gates to ensure the smooth movement of employees and students.

For his part, the director of the municipality expressed his readiness to implement projects that serve the interest of citizens, stressing at the same time the keenness of the directorate to reduce the momentum at the university entrances by opening other gates that contribute to reducing the momentum at the main gates
