Professor Dr. Basim Khalil Nayil Al-Saadi, the President of the University of Karbala, oversaw the activation process of the electronic attendance program for students, which was activated today for the first time at the College of Pure Sciences Education at the University of Karbala.
Attending the activation process were the University Vice Presidents for Scientific and Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Al-Janabi and Professor Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri, along with the Dean of the College of Pure Sciences Education, Professor Dr. Hameeda Eidhan Salman.
Students were able to register their attendance in the lecture through a special barcode provided by the program.
The College of Pure Sciences Education had completed the installation of broadcasting devices to activate the electronic attendance program for students. The program represents a fundamental step in digitizing educational institutions and transforming them into smart universities.
The program manages students’ personal information and academic variables, allowing students and their guardians to follow lectures, exams, and other data.
The program’s application can be installed on all smartphones and tablets.
