The College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala received the President of the University, Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali. He was welcomed by the Dean of the College, Dr. Mowaffaq Kadhem Al-Hasnawi, together with the Head of the Department of Computer Science, Dr. Essam Hameed Abbas.

During the visit, the President reviewed the progress of work in the College and its academic departments, while also assessing their academic and administrative needs in order to further strengthen the university environment and enhance educational and research programs.

Dr. Ali emphasized the importance of keeping pace with recent developments in the fields of computer science and information technology, and expressed the University’s commitment to supporting the College in implementing its plans aimed at advancing the quality of students’ education and scientific research.

In return, the Dean expressed his appreciation for the continuous support of the University Presidency, reaffirming the College’s commitment to pursuing its academic strategies in line with labor market requirements and societal aspirations.
