The Women’s Affairs Unit at the College of Computer Science and IT – University of Karbala organized an online seminar titled “Climate Change: Its Impacts and How to Address Them,” as part of its ongoing awareness programs focused on science and community issues.

The seminar featured presentations by:

• Asst. Prof. Jidar Mohammed Al-Kuraity, via Google Meet
• Lecturer Anfal Khudair Abbas, who focused on practical and preventative aspects of climate change.

The session covered the major environmental, economic, and social impacts of climate change, along with possible solutions to reduce its effects. It also highlighted the role of academic and community institutions in tackling these challenges.

The event saw great participation from faculty and students, with lively interaction and discussions that enriched the scientific content.
