The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iraq, Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmed. The meeting focused on exploring prospects for scientific and academic cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, the Minister emphasized the importance of strengthening ties between academic institutions in both countries and fostering effective partnerships. He noted that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research adopts a policy of internationalizing education as one of its strategic pillars to promote global partnerships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The two sides discussed the draft Memorandum of Understanding, which includes provisions aimed at enhancing institutional cooperation, exchanging expertise, and offering scholarships that provide opportunities for students and researchers to enroll in specialized academic programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For his part, the Pakistani Ambassador expressed his country\u2019s interest in expanding areas of academic collaboration and strengthening communication between universities, as well as coordinating on quality initiatives that contribute to sustainable scientific relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
