The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, has announced that the academic year 2024\u20132025 will be considered a “non-failing year” for undergraduate students whose enrollment would otherwise be terminated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the decision:
“In the interest of safeguarding the future of our students, and in order to address the special circumstances of those who were unable to successfully complete the academic year 2024\u20132025, it has been decided to designate this academic year as a non-failing year for undergraduate students (both morning and evening programs) across all recognized academic systems for the mentioned year.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The decision further clarified that this measure does not apply to final-year students who were already covered under Ministry directive No. (M 5\/5660), dated 30 April 2025. Additionally, it does not apply to cases where enrollment termination results from cheating, disciplinary sanctions, or forgery, in accordance with the provisions of the current Examination Instructions No. (134) of 2000 and its amendments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
