In the Russian Federation… The head of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority participates in the (ATOMEXPO-2024) forum and discusses the implementation of the zero-reactor for training and scientific research.

The President of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeim Al-Aboudi, participated in the international forum (ATOMEXPO-2024) held in Russia within the city of Sochi from March 25 to 26.

In a statement to the press on the sidelines of the participation, the Minister of Education emphasized that Iraq has a specific strategy in this field and is open to the global industrial environment to discuss the pathways for implementing the zero-reactor project, which will provide scientific space for training and conducting specialized educational research at Iraqi universities.

The International Forum (ATOMEXPO-2024) is one of the important conferences and exhibitions in the global nuclear industry, attended by directors of government agencies, international nuclear industry companies, public organizations, international experts, and representatives of foreign countries.

The forum includes an exhibition featuring leading companies in the global nuclear industry and related sectors in engineering technologies in the field of energy.
