The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the Military Industrialization Corporation signed a scientific agreement to enhance cooperation in the fields of scientific research, technological development and innovation support.
Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi said during a joint press conference with the head of the Military Industrialization Authority Engineer Mustafa Ati Hassan at the headquarters of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research that the agreement provides for the development of educational and training programs for capacity building in areas of common interest, exchange of experiences, information and resources, providing academic and research support for projects and approving graduate student projects in specialties that serve applied and field research required by the work of the Authority, especially in specialties related to the development of defense industries.
He added that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and its universities are keen to integrate with state institutions and meet their needs in accordance with the vision and strategy of the Iraqi government and its program and ministerial platform of specialized research, technical and technological support and training opportunities, while the head of the Military Industrialization Authority expressed his appreciation for the great interest shown by higher education and scientific research institutions in strengthening the space for joint work and providing qualitative expertise in areas that serve the work of the Authority at the scientific and advisory level.
