Karbala University Central Scientific Promotions Committee organised a workshop to discuss the process of completing the scientific promotion transactions of professors in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, and a number of professors and employees. During his attendance at the workshop, the University President Dr. Sabah Wajid stressed the need to adhere to the promotion timelines and not to receive any transaction that does not meet the required conditions, indicating the importance of adhering to the criteria for promotions, especially research quality and journal sobriety. The Chairman of the Central Promotions Committee at Karbala University, Dr Zuhair Jabbar, stated that “the workshop came to discuss a practical strategy to facilitate the completion of the mechanism of scientific promotions in Karbala University.
