The President of Karbala University, Prof. Sabah Wajid, received a shield from Ferdowsi University, Mashhad, in recognition of the efforts made in developing academic relations between the two institutions.

The shield was handed over by Dr. Hussein Omran Al-Rifai, representative of the Faculty of Management and Economics at Karbala University, as part of the consolidation of bilateral relations and activation of the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding, which includes the exchange of academic expertise, joint scientific research, and the development of educational programmes between the two universities.

The President of Karbala University emphasised the importance of such partnerships in enhancing the scientific process and knowledge exchange, praising the role played by Ferdowsi University in supporting scientific research and international cooperation
