Ministerial Committee Visits College of Computer Science and Information Technology on National Afforestation Day

As part of the celebration of World Afforestation Day, a ministerial committee visited the College of Computer Science and Information Technology on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. The visit was part of national initiatives aimed at raising environmental awareness and emphasizing the importance of afforestation for environmental sustainability.

The visit began with a tour of the college, where the delegation was welcomed by Dean Dr. Muwafaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, Administrative Assistant Dr. Issam Hamed Abbas, and faculty members. The college also presented its environmental projects, which are being implemented in collaboration with government agencies.

During the visit, the ministerial committee planted several trees in the college garden, highlighting the importance of expanding green spaces and preserving the environment. The committee members expressed their appreciation for the college’s efforts in promoting environmental awareness and encouraging students to participate in such initiatives.
