The College of Computer Science and Information Technology organized a training workshop entitled “Reducing Bugs Through Software/Code Reuse” on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall at the College’s main building.
The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ahmed Sattar Jabir, who highlighted the importance of code reuse as an effective method for reducing bugs in software development. He outlined both the theoretical foundations and practical techniques that enable developers to write more stable and maintainable code.
The session witnessed active engagement from students and researchers, who contributed with questions and insightful discussions—particularly regarding the practical challenges of applying code reuse principles in large-scale software projects.
This workshop is part of a series of scientific activities regularly organized by the College to enhance students’ technical skills and promote a culture of quality in programming and systems development.
