The faculty member, Assistant Lecturer Ruaa Abdul Jawad Lutfah, participated in the scientific seminar entitled “The Importance of Enhancing Intellectual Security Among University Students,” alongside Dr. Abbas Ubaid Al-Amri from the College of Education for Humanities / Department of Arabic Language.

The seminar took place on Sunday, April 27, 2025, in the Al-Khwarizmi Hall.

The event targeted students, faculty members, and staff, covering multiple topics, including: the general concept of security, the specific concept of intellectual security, its importance, and ways to promote it. Special emphasis was placed on the importance and influence of intellectual security among university students, particularly in light of the fierce challenges currently targeting societal thought and awareness.

At the conclusion of the seminar, the lecturers recommended the necessity of preserving intellectual security and verifying true sources of knowledge to avoid falling victim to the ongoing organized campaigns. The speakers praised the students and attendees, stressing the importance of maintaining and strengthening this critical aspect.
