The President of Karbala University, Prof Dr Sabah Wajid Ali, conducted a ceremony to hand over the ministerial orders appointing five new deans of the faculties of medicine, law, physical education and sports science, applied medical sciences, and agriculture.
Dr Khalid Khalil Ibrahim Hussein received the deanship of the Faculty of Medicine, Dr Ahmed Shaker Salman Makroud received the deanship of the Faculty of Law, Dr Habib Ali Taher Jawad received the deanship of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, Dr Hassan Faisal Naama Shalbah received the deanship of the Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, and Dr Ali Abdul Hussein Karim Majid received the deanship of the Faculty of Agriculture.
During the handover ceremony, the UQU President expressed his thanks and appreciation for the efforts of the former deans for their generous efforts in serving their colleges in particular and the university in general.
The handover ceremony was held in the presence of the Assistant President for Administrative Affairs, Dr Jassim Aidan Al-Maamouri, and the Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, Dr Haider Mohammed Omran.
