Karbala University’s Global Rankings Follow-up Committee held an expanded meeting in the presence of the University President, Prof. Dr Sabah Wajid Ali, to discuss the latest scientific developments and the university’s advanced positions in local and international rankings.
The meeting, which was attended by Dr Haider Mohammed Omran, Assistant President for Scientific Affairs, stressed the importance of upgrading the level of scientific research provided by researchers to achieve progress in internationally accredited rankings.
During the meeting, a number of proposals were presented that would improve the educational process, as well as follow up the development of the university’s website, especially in the English language, as it is one of the requirements of international evaluation.
It is worth mentioning that Karbala University has achieved advanced positions in international rankings such as the Times, WebMarks, GreenMarks, and the British QS rankings.
