In confirmation of our diligent follow-up on the details resulting from the decision of the National Retirement Authority regarding the retirement rights of professors and assistant professors whose service has been extended based on existing legislation, His Excellency the Prime Minister has directed the approval of the content of our letter submitted to the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers dated 7/4/2024, which stipulates the approval of extension years for this segment as actual service and not as compensation for work, in implementation of University Service Law No. 23 of 2008 as amended.

In this regard, we renew our commitment to enable the members of our universities to their rights stipulated by law and to integrate with the relevant sectoral institutions to achieve the objectives of the public interest.
