Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Abboudi, held a meeting with the council of Al-Mustansiriya University to discuss scientific research indicators and praised the Pharmacy College for obtaining international program accreditation.

During the meeting, the Minister emphasized that the achieved scientific indicators require doubling efforts, intensifying performance, and enhancing academic employment fields responsible for a qualitative response to sustainable development goals. He also stressed the active contribution to various fields of scientific research, especially in health, agriculture, environment, and technology, in addition to addressing the challenges facing society.

He urged the nurturing of students, the development of their skills, and motivating them towards advancing and completing their specializations through an environment of applied scientific research. He highlighted the importance of developing international communication skills and benefiting from the positive climate in universities following the implementation of the “Study in Iraq” program, which qualitatively attracted international students.

The Minister listened to the inputs and suggestions of the President of Al-Mustansiriya University and the deans regarding academic and advisory services, diversifying educational programs, study systems, and pathways for interacting with community service.
