The President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, participated in the sixth meeting of the Advisory Board held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, chaired by the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and attended by senior officials of the ministry and presidents of Iraqi universities.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the development of higher education, foremost among them digital transformation and automation in university institutions.
During his remarks at the meeting, Dr. Sabah Wajid emphasized that digital transformation is no longer a luxury in administration, but a strategic necessity to ensure the quality of academic performance and enhance the competitiveness of Iraqi universities both locally and internationally.
He noted that the University of Karbala places great importance on digital transformation and has, in recent years, launched several significant initiatives in this field.
