In the continuous efforts by the College of Computer Science and Information Technology to educate about the initiatives presented by the central and local government, including the initiative of the Prime Minister (Riyada initiative) and also the initiative of the local government (Karbala my project), as these initiatives work to provide job opportunities for graduates after qualifying them in courses specialized in supplying the labor market with these youth energies and eliminating unemployment rates in society.
The official of the Rehabilitation and employment Division at the University, Lecturer Maher Hassan Kadhim, conducted a media and educational campaign about the Karbala Project initiative, including publishing explanatory posters about the initiative. The College of Computer Science and Information Technology had the best opportunity of being among the most supportive of the initiatives. Many posters explaining the initiative of  ( Karbala, my project ) were published in the deanship of the college and scientific departments, and they included the following:
The mechanism of Project receiving :

  1. Receiving the summaries of the project through an electronic form that can be accessed through the QR Code.
  2. The application period is two months, starting from 1-4/2023 to 1-6/2023.
  3. The scientific committees in the faculties scrutinize the submitted projects and send them to the Central Committee within a period of two weeks from the end of the submission.
  4. The Central Committee selects the best projects according to a specific mechanism.
    The Advantages of  the Initiative
  5. Allocating plots of land suitable for the project by Karbala Governorate.
  6. Obtaining a financial loan of (20 million Iraqi dinars) without interest and repaying it within five years.
  7. If the project needs an amount of more than (20 million Iraqi dinars), we seek to find the appropriate partner to complete the project.
  8. Facilitating the procedures for obtaining a license to establish industrial projects from the ministry of Industry and minerals – General Directorate of Industrial Development – Public Relations Department – Graduate Support Division quickly and with low fees.
  9. A ten-year tax exemption for the project.
  10. Customs exemption for machines in case they need to be imported from abroad.
