Under the guidance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, the College of Computer Science and Information Technology is preparing to participate in the Tenth World Water Forum, which will be held in Bali / Indonesia for the period (18-24/5/2024) in coordination with the university presidency and all colleges that will participate in it. In order to obtain distinguished and effective participation in the conference, the University of Karbala is ready to give positive results and realistic solutions to reduce the phenomenon of water scarcity facing the country.
The preparatory committee formed to discuss the requirements for participation in the forum was held at the ministry’s centre and indicated the ministry’s participation in the inaugural meeting of the Tenth World Water Forum held in Jakarta / Indonesia.
The Ministry has indicated that it is optimistic about this participation because it will reap its fruits through the study, plans and visions presented by the participating delegation, as well as working to hold meetings with all participating countries in order to conclude positive agreements that are in the interest of the state to reduce the phenomenon of water scarcity
