Dr. Muwaffaq Kazem Al-Hasnawi, the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Karbala, attended today, Thursday, April 25, 2024, the final debate of the University Debate World Cup organized by the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Department at the University of Karbala. The debate was between teams from the College of Veterinary Medicine and the College of Education for Human Sciences, in the presence of the University President, Professor Dr. Basim Khalil Nayel Al-Saadi, and several deans and professors.

The competition, in which students from all colleges of the university participated, aimed to elevate their cultural level through fostering a spirit of competition, refining their dialogue skills, and empowering them to persuade, build arguments, and refute them.

The debate witnessed intense competition between the students of the College of Education for Human Sciences and the College of Veterinary Medicine, with the latter winning the first place after two consecutive rounds.

The Dean emphasized the importance of such debates, which enhance the role of talented students and refine their scientific skills, thus serving the educational process, our beloved university, and Iraq.
