Monday, 6/12/2023, the Iraqi Parliament voted on Article (55) in the financial budget related to financial grants for students and students, which stipulates (a monthly financial grant is disbursed to students and students from families covered by the social protection network, according to the amounts stipulated in the grant law Pupils and students of government schools No. (3) for the year 2014 and the Grant Law for Students of Iraqi Governmental Universities and Institutes No. (63) for the year (2012) from the allocations of the two ministries (Education, Higher Education, and Scientific Research), which were distributed as follows:
1_ Elementary 30 thousand
2_ Middle and high school 50 thousand
3_ Bachelor 100 thousand
4_ Postgraduate studies 150 thousand
