The Department of Continuing Education at the University of Karbala organized the second session as part of the Leadership Development and University Leaders Rehabilitation Program and Human Resources, launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
On the first day of the session, the University President, Professor Dr. Basim Khaleel Nayil Al-Saadi, attended along with his assistant for scientific affairs, Professor Dr. Najm Abdul Hussein Al-Janabi, and Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hadi, the director of the Department of Continuing Education, along with several professors and university staff.
Dr. Basim Al-Saadi stated in his speech, “Development and training programs are ultimately shining points in the journey of both educators and administrators.” He added that the goal of the program, approved by the Ministry of Education, is to reactivate and update information among academic staff by using modern methods for information transfer.
He emphasized that the University of Karbala operates on the principle of teamwork, without relying on individual personalities, for the success and development of performance in all fields of expertise.
Dr. Ahmed Abdul Hadi, the director of the Department of Continuing Education at the university, mentioned that the course will last for five months, covering various aspects including administrative, legal, financial, personal, and informational topics.
