Toby – Bookmark Manager

Introduction

In today’s fast-paced world, we often find ourselves with an overwhelming number of tabs open in our web browsers. This is where a good bookmark manager comes in handy. One of the most popular bookmark managers available today is Toby.

Toby is a browser extension that allows you to save and organize your bookmarks. It is available for Google Chrome and Firefox, and it can be downloaded from the respective web stores.

It is great for anyone who wants to keep their bookmarks organized and easily accessible. Furthermore, it is particularly useful for students, researchers, and anyone who needs to keep track of a lot of information.

Toby is also great for teams. If you are working on a project with others, you can create a collection for that project and then share it with your team members. This makes it easy for everyone to access the same information and stay on the same page.

Features

  • Group bookmarks into collections. You can create collections for different topics or projects, and then add bookmarks to them.
  • Search function, which makes it easy to find bookmarks based on keywords. You can also add tags to your bookmarks, which makes them even easier to find.
  • Sync across multiple devices. If you use Toby on your desktop computer, you can also use it on your laptop or mobile device. This means that you can access your bookmarks from anywhere, at any time.

How to use

To get started with Toby, simply download and install the extension from the Chrome Web Store. Once installed, you can start adding bookmarks by clicking the extension button in your browser’s toolbar and selecting “Add Bookmark.”

If you choose the default Toby extension, it will replace your new tab page with a customizable interface that displays your bookmarks and tabs. To access your bookmarks and tabs, simply click the Toby button on the new tab page.

If you choose Toby Mini, it will not replace your new tab page, but instead will add a button to your browser’s toolbar. Clicking the button will open a dropdown menu where you can access your bookmarks and tabs.

Alternatives

Raindrop.io is another popular option that allows you to save and organize bookmarks, as well as other types of content like notes and images.

Another alternative to using Toby is to simply use the default bookmark manager in your web browser, but it may be limited in terms of features and functionality.
