On the morning of Monday, June 30, 2025, the respected President of the University of Karbala, Professor Dr. Sabah Wajid Ali, paid a visit to the College of Computer Science and Information Technology to observe firsthand the competitive examination for applicants to graduate studies for the academic year 2024–2025.
He was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Mowafaq Kadhem Al-Hasnawi, accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Mohsen Hassan Hussein, the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Essam Hamed Abbas, along with a number of the college’s faculty members.
The University President toured the examination halls and reviewed the nature of the exam questions as well as the organizational and administrative procedures in place. He praised the efforts of the college’s administration and supervisory committees in providing a conducive environment for the students, ensuring transparency and fairness in the competitive process.
During the visit, Dr. Sabah emphasized the importance of adhering to ministerial regulations and guidelines, and of providing the necessary support to ensure the success of this important academic milestone. He also wished all the applicants success and good fortune.
