The University of Karbala begins training a group of graduates as part of the “Entrepreneurship” initiative.

The Department of Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up at the University of Karbala, in collaboration with the College of Tourism Sciences, has started training a group of participants in the “Entrepreneurship” initiative launched by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al-Sudani, with the aim of developing students’ skills in preparation for establishing their own projects.

The training program targeted graduate students and evening study students aged eighteen to fifty. Morning study students will be recruited during the summer vacation.

The program includes training and developing the skills of participants to establish their own projects in production and service sectors. Participants will be granted loans upon completing the training program to assist them in launching their own projects.

Meanwhile, the University President, Professor Bassim Nayel Khalil Al-Saadi, urged participants in the rehabilitation program to share their experiences with their fellow graduates, aiming to include a larger number of graduates in this project and to encourage the private sector and small projects that contribute to alleviating a significant portion of the economic burdens on the state.
