Iraq’s Ministry of Higher Education Launches First Overseas Degree Evaluation System in the UK

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the launch of its first external system for evaluating academic degrees, now available in London. This move is part of the ministry’s ongoing efforts to improve academic services and simplify procedures for students.

Minister of Higher Education Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi has called for expanding external services to better meet the needs of students and the Iraqi community abroad. The goal is to create an efficient, accurate process that saves time and effort in evaluating and recognizing foreign degrees.

The new evaluation system was launched through the Ministry’s Scholarship and Cultural Relations Portal, with a delegation from the Ministry traveling to London to coordinate with the Iraqi Embassy and Cultural Attaché. This step aims to strengthen institutional cooperation and expand high-quality academic services for Iraqis living in the UK, allowing them to complete degree evaluation procedures more easily through the new system.
